The Tasmanian football community are having their say in strong numbers, with a great response to the Tasmanian Football Futures Project survey, before a series of town hall sessions take place in August.
There were over 1,000 unique respondents to the survey that ran across two weeks, delivering the project a strong sample size of feedback.
Head of AFL Tasmania, Damian Gill was encouraged by the response.
“We are excited by the response to the survey; it gives us a strong grounding for the project and an understanding of the sentiment and views of the Tasmanian football community.
“It is clear the football community is invested in the futures project and understands the importance of the work we are undertaking together.”
Stakeholders at all levels of the game are invited to participate in the Football Futures Project, which sets out to develop a long-term vision for local football across the state.
The next opportunity for more football community engagement will be through three upcoming Town Hall sessions to be held in the three football regions – South, North-West and North. These have been rescheduled to take place in the first week of August, due to logistical impacts of COVID-19 outbreaks impacting the involvement of independent consultant and town hall facilitator ColganBauer.
